    GRAND COCHON - SATURDAY June 18th

    The epic finale to the 10-city touring culinary competition, will crown its King or Queen of Porc at the Viceroy on Saturday evening, June 18th. The event brings together the ten winning chefs of the regional competitions and ten pigs for a nose-to-tail culinary showdown. More than 1,200 pounds of heritage pork raised by American family farms will be served to a crowd of 20 celebrity chefs and 400 pork-loving epicureans. Very limited space remains.

    On Friday, June 17, join Cochon555 for a very exclusive Late Night Asian Speakeasy at Ricard by Viceroy starting at 9pm. The all-star dinner will feature six celebrity Washington DC chefs including “2016 Prince of Porc” Jonah Kim of Yona, “2015 Prince of Porc” Danny Lee of Mandu, “3-Time Cochon555 Winner” Scott Drewno of the Source by Wolfgang Puck, Haidar Karoum of Doi Moi alongside Seng Pradachith and Bobby Pradachith of Thip Khao. The all-inclusive family-style feast pays homage to Chinese, Sichuan, Korean, Thai and Japanese dishes that inspire chefs to globalize their menu with new ingredients. Guests can expect interactive courses paired with exquisite wines. Francesco Mionetto will kick-off this culinary marvel celebrating responsible agriculture by sabering a magnum of Mionetto Prosecco followed by a five perfectly paired courses with Mionetto sparkling wines. Guests of the dinner will have the opportunity to mingle with participating chefs, winemakers and beverage experts. The dinner will be limited to 100 seats, tickets are available online at $125 per person. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Piggy Bank, a farm devoted to giving free heritage breed pigs to family farmers.
